ALL POSTSHow hard is it to use the search engine?

I apologize if I sound rude; I just wanted to get this off my chest. Also, this doesn't apply to the majority of this site's users.

How hard is it to use the freaking search engine!? I ask because I've found people asking questions that could easily be answered by, as well as expressing misconceptions that could easily be resolved by, taking five minutes or less to use the dang search engine! The straw that broke the camel's back was when I found people online confused about Jiraiya saying Itachi used "Saimingan" on the woman at the hotel to use her as a distraction (when he and Kisame confronted Naruto). They either expressed utter bafflement at this, like there was no possible way anyone could understand why he used that term (So why ask in the first place?), or made mocking comments that OBVIOUSLY the manga & anime had made a mistake and began patting themselves on the back for spotting this "error". The thing is it wasn't an error, nor was it indecipherable. If you type "Saimingan" into this site's search engine, you get a link to the "Sharingan" article which explains, "The Sharingan grants the wielder two broad abilities: the "Eye of Insight" (洞察眼, Dōsatsugan) and the "Eye of Hypnotism" (催眠眼, Saimingan) [I put this in bold for emphasis]." That's all you have to do! For the record, I was unfamiliar with the term too when I saw it, so I looked it up instead of whining or claiming, "They made a mistake!" in order to stroke my ego. I can understand people being ignorant; what ticks me off is people choosing to be ignorant by not bothering to take a minute to do research.

I just needed to vent/rant. If anyone else is tired of seeing this too, feel free to commiserate.

"when I found people online" - so are you whining about people on the internet being stupid or people on the wiki being stupid?

I delete all simple question threads by the way. There's a Naruto Answers wiki for those.

I mean people on other sites on the Internet, not on this wiki. I apologize for being vague. It's like some people think, "Well, I have a question, but instead of trying to find a site which might have answers, I'll just complain about not knowing!"

That's good. Generally on Naruto Answers people are trying to find answers instead of jumping to conclusions without evidence.
